UK government new subsidies on Green Hydrogen production
The UK Government Department of Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ formerly BEIS) is calling for a second tranche of bids on Hydrogen Allocation, up to 750MW of capacity in early 2025, subject to costs etc. The first round 0f 250MW should be working soon so we should arrive at 1GW by 2025. Hopefully this is successful because the plan is to achieve 20GW of green hydrogen by 2030.
