THE GAMES START WITH HYDROGEN BUS
Today Friday 30 July, the games started. I went to Alexander stadium to check if the 20 hydrogen buses on route 51 were running. Bu I only saw one hydrogen bus out of twenty going past over 2 hours. On a one hour route from Birmingham to Walsall, running every 10 minutes, I should have seen all 20, counting both directions. The one I rode was surprisingly noisy and creaking somewhat, but slightly better than the 6 diesel buses I travelled on. I asked one diesel driver why he was not driving a hydrogen model and he told me he was driving one out but it broke down, so he reverted to diesel. Obviously, more work is needed.
