The meeting discussed ways to collaborate on hydrogen energy. Since 2018, 25 countries (inc UK) have already formulated national hydrogen strategies, with 24 more preparing or announcing their plans.
Over 540,000 fuel cell systems have been deployed (1000 in UK) and over 1,100 hydrogen refueling stations (4 in UK) have been established as part of the Global Action Agenda goals (10 million fuel cell systems and 10,000 hydrogen refueling stations, in 10 years).
A goal of producing at least 90Mt of renewable and low-carbon hydrogen by 2030 (UK is predicting 1Mt/a, about 1%: too small)
